Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: email address, username, display name, avatar and bio.
• Content you create: photos, videos, reels, stories, captions and comments.
• Messages you send in direct chats, plus read and delivery status.
• Preferences: your chosen language, preferred dubbing voice and the “Remember my choice” setting.
• Device data needed for the app to work: a Firebase push notification token and basic device/browser information.

How we use it

To run your account, show your feed, deliver messages and notifications, generate translations and dubbed audio for the “Hear in Own Language” feature, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

Voice, audio and translation

Reel audio and call audio are processed to produce translations and synthesised speech. Live call audio is not stored. Translated text and generated dubbed audio may be cached so the same reel loads instantly next time.

Permissions we request

• Camera and microphone — to shoot reels, stories and make audio/video calls.
• Photos and videos — only for the files you pick to upload.
• Notifications — to alert you about likes, comments, follows and messages.

Every permission is requested at the moment you use the feature and can be revoked in Android settings.

Storage and security

Data is stored with our cloud provider using encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and row-level access rules so only you and the people you share with can read your content. Passwords are hashed and never visible to us.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual posts at any time. To delete your account and all associated content, email support@sabagram.in from your registered address; we remove your data within 30 days.

Children

Sabagram is not intended for children under 13.
